| The Mid-West Concrete Industry Board, Inc. (MCIB) is a local, not-for-profit corporation orginized in 1960. The charter members recognized the need for interaction between business, trade and professional organizations and governmental agencies, to promote a common goal -- quality concrete construction in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. |

- Publish "Specifications for Concrete Work"
- Sponsor Annual Concrete Technology Course
- Establish and support perpetual scholarship fund to benefit area engineering students studying concrete and concrete design
